This catalog celebrates the Wildling Museum's 2018 exhibition and sale (see exhibition postcard below). Published by the Museum and Rose Compass, a small collective of six Santa Barbara women artists, this book documents the Santa Ynez River and watershed through art at a critical time in our history.

The six artists who comprise Rose Compass (Connie Connally, Holli Harmon, Libby Smith, Nicole Strasburg, Nina Warner and Pamela Zwehl-Burke) began teaching themselves how to work in gouache following a 2014 Thomas Paquette exhibition, and banded together in the process. They are dedicated to "using art to inform the public about our local watershed, how it functions and our individual responsibility to protect its viability."
